Huanglong

Huanglong is located at the northwest part of Sichuan, China. It is 300 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou Valley are near to each other.
Huanglong is very scenic and famous for its colorful pools formed by calcite deposits, especially in Huanglonggou (Yellow Dragon Gully), snow-clad mountains, valleys waterfalls, hot springs and diverse forest ecosystems. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992.
